Higher Education The Erasmus+ programme provides an opportunity for higher education institutions to participate in mobility projects and send students and employees of higher education institutions to other European countries or to participate in international cooperation projects. Organizations from Serbia can have the role of coordinator, project applicant or project partner. Opportunities available to higher education institutions:

Erasmus Charter for Higher Education The Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) provides the general quality framework for European and international cooperation activities a higher education institution may carry out within Erasmus+. The award of an ECHE is a pre-requisite for higher education institutions located in a Programme country and willing to participate in Erasmus+ activities dedicated to higher education. What is the significance of the Erasmus Charter? Who can apply? Accredited independent higher education institutions from EU Member States, EFTA/EEA Member States and candidate countries including Serbia. “Medika” received the Erasmus Charter The Executive Agency for Education, Audiovisual Content and Culture of the European Commission (EACEA) awarded the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education 2021–2027 to the College for Vocational Studies in Healthcare “Medika”, recognizing its quality work in the field of internationalization. The Erasmus Charter for Higher Education is the document on the basis of which the European Commission grants accreditation to higher education institutions so they can apply for and participate in Erasmus+ projects in education, youth and sport. By acquiring the Erasmus Charter for 2021–2027, Medika can participate in European and international cooperation within the Erasmus+ programme.
